West Coast Fab's Manufacturing Engineers have used Metalsoft CAD/CAM software since 1988, and are currently working with FabriWIN Version 5.31. Our Metalsoft Enhanced Importer enables us to import customer files directly into the programming software via e-mail, thus eliminating the need for full-size blueprints, faxes, etc. The Importer can receive various file types, including DXF, IGES, and CADL.

Our customers use a variety of Design Engineering software, ranging from AutoCAD to Pro/Engineering to SolidWorks. With those files being compatible with both the Importer and FabriWIN, the entire process - from Request for Quotation to Part Development - can take place by way of a "paperless transfer".
